Last night the Eagles of Death Metal threw a joyful Rock’n’Roll dance party n one of our favorite places in the world : le Krakatoa.

This small venue near Bordeaux with the best alternative gigs in town. We were waiting for this moment for so long. Jesse Hughes and his band delivered a fiery set, both joyful and fierce.

The setlist was intense : only bangers were on the menu. We got to hear “I only want you”, “Cherry Cola”, “Complexity”, “I want you so hard”. Jesse Hughes jumped and smiled like a high on funfetti 5-year old at a birthday party. Jennie Vee was the bad ass bass genius she always is. We almost shed a tear when Jesse did an acoustic cover of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t help falling in love”, followed by the whole crowd. Also, we went frantic when the band played “Ace of Spades” (Lemmy, we miss ya!).

What a night! Here’s some shot to keep you drooling.
