Ho ho ho, fellow music lovers! The season is jolly but it would be jollier with some cake. That’s why we launched a new Yummy Awards event to celebrate a new artist the Sound Eaters way.
This year, you voted on Instagram for the Yummy Awards and told us you wanted a Johnny Cash Cake under the Christmas tree… WISH GRANTED!
A Yummy Award for Xmas
Yummy Award is an event hosted by yours truly where every audiophile out there gets to tell us which artist he loves best, so that we can turn him or her (or them) into an exquisite cake. We organize several rounds of celebrity deathmatches and make people vote for their fave musician. At the end of an exciting week, the results are in and we rush into our kitchens.
Since the Halloween Yummy Award was an epic success, we decided to launch a Xmas Edition. This year, the good IG people designated 12 artists :

The votes were tight. And, in the end, Johnny Cash prevailed!
A fiery cake for Johnny Cash
Since it was hard to bake a merry treat given the dark persona of Mr Cash, we decided to bake something fiery! So we summoned the Mighty Ring of Fire and made this flamy and rich chocolate bundt cake, full of candied oranges and cranberries and caramelized pecan nuts. In a word: YUM…
