What happens in our minds when we love an album? The idea of a cake immediately pops in! Recently, we had the chance to have a nice chat with Radio Freccia, an Italian rock music radio station. Of course, we want to share it with you!
Known for its dedication to rock’n’roll culture, Radio Freccia – that name is inspired by an Italian cult movie – shares amazing music from the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, along with newer releases. Radio Hosts Gigi Riccardo and Cecil B interviewed us last week about our cakes and our creative process. And it was dope!

Life is full of surprises. A few days ago, we got a DM from Gigi Riccardo asking us if we would like to collaborate with Radio Freecia and bake a cake. The theme? Fontaines DC’ last album, Romance. We happily said yes and baked a lovely heart-shaped macaron.
In that same DM, Gigi, who happens to be following our Instagram adventures for years, also asked if we had time for a quick interview, to talk about our baking process. How could we say no to that? Sure, we were terrified to speak live, but we were also super excited by this amazing opportunity!
So we chatted with Gigi and Cecil for 5 minutes and had a great time. In this interview, we explain how this crazy idea of baking music-inspired cakes came to life. We also discussed how we design each cake and what influences us most during this process. Plus, we got to share our super cute rock ‘n’ roll meet story.
We won’t give too much away here, but if you love music that speaks to your soul and cakes that satisfy your sweet tooth, you’ll want to check this out.
Grab a muffin, hit play, and let us know what album we should bake up next!
